Purchase Options Cancellation Policy

Applies to subscriptions and subscription bundle boxes purchased through www.themaplebrothers.com

SUMMARY: You may cancel your subscription or subscription bundle box at any time, with no minimum commitment and no cancellation fees. Changes or cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your next scheduled order processes to take effect that cycle.


1. What This Policy Covers

This Purchase Options Cancellation Policy applies to all recurring purchase options available on the Maple Brothers Co. website, including:

  • Individual product subscriptions (e.g., recurring orders for oat bars, granola, or pancake mix)

  • Subscription bundle boxes (curated recurring boxes of Maple Brothers products)

This policy does not apply to one-time purchases. For returns or refunds on any order, please refer to our Refund Policy at www.themaplebrothers.com/policies/refund-policy.


2. Cancel Anytime — No Fees, No Minimums

You may cancel your subscription or subscription bundle box at any time. There is no minimum commitment period, no cancellation fee, and no penalty for cancelling.

We do not require you to complete a minimum number of orders before cancelling. You are free to cancel after your very first order if you choose.


3. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription through any of the following methods:

  • Online via your Recharge customer portal (fastest): Log in to your account at www.themaplebrothers.com and click "Manage Subscriptions." Select the subscription you wish to cancel, then click "Cancel Subscription." You may be shown an optional offer (such as a pause or discount) as part of the cancellation flow — you are free to skip this and proceed directly to cancellation. You will receive a confirmation email once complete.

  • By email: Send a cancellation request to info@themaplebrothers.com with your name, order number, and the subject line "Subscription Cancellation." We will cancel your subscription in Recharge and confirm within 1 business day.

  • By phone: Call us at +1 (802) 999-7057 during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm ET) and we will cancel your subscription on your behalf.

You will receive a confirmation email once your cancellation has been processed. Please retain this for your records.


4. Cancellation Deadline — The 48-Hour Rule

To avoid being charged for your next order, cancellations must be submitted at least 48 hours before your next scheduled renewal date.

  • If you cancel more than 48 hours before your renewal date: your subscription will not renew and you will not be charged for that cycle.

  • If you cancel less than 48 hours before your renewal date: your next order may already be processing. In this case, the cancellation will take effect for all subsequent renewals, but the imminent order may still be fulfilled and charged. Please contact us immediately at info@themaplebrothers.com and we will do our best to intercept the order before it ships.

You can find your next scheduled renewal date by logging into your account and visiting "Manage Subscriptions."


5. Pausing Your Subscription

If you need a break but do not want to cancel entirely, you may pause your subscription instead. When you initiate a cancellation in the Recharge customer portal, you may be offered a pause option as an alternative before your cancellation is confirmed. You can also contact us directly at info@themaplebrothers.com or +1 (802) 999-7057 and we will pause your subscription on your behalf. Your subscription will automatically resume after the selected pause period unless you cancel before it resumes.


6. Modifying Your Subscription

Before cancelling, you may also consider modifying your subscription. Through your Recharge customer portal (accessible via "Manage Subscriptions" in your account), you can:

  • Change the frequency of your deliveries (e.g., from monthly to every 6 weeks)

  • Swap products in your subscription or bundle box

  • Update your shipping address or payment method

  • Skip an individual upcoming order without cancelling

Modifications must be made at least 48 hours before your next renewal date to take effect for that cycle.


7. Refunds After Cancellation

Cancelling your subscription stops future charges. It does not automatically entitle you to a refund for any orders already placed, fulfilled, or shipped. However:

  • If you are charged after submitting a timely cancellation request (more than 48 hours before renewal), we will issue a full refund. Please contact us at info@themaplebrothers.com with your confirmation of cancellation.

  • If an order has already shipped at the time of cancellation, our standard Refund Policy applies. We cannot refund shipped orders unless they arrive damaged or defective.


8. Subscription Bundle Boxes

All of the above terms apply equally to subscription bundle boxes. Bundle boxes are curated selections of Maple Brothers products delivered on a recurring basis. Cancelling a bundle box subscription cancels all products within that box for future renewals.

If you wish to continue receiving some but not all products in a bundle, please contact us at info@themaplebrothers.com and we will help you transition to an individual product subscription.


9. What Happens to Your Data After Cancellation

After cancellation, your account and order history remain accessible. Your personal data will be retained and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy at www.themaplebrothers.com/policies/privacy-policy. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting info@themaplebrothers.com.


10. Reactivating a Cancelled Subscription

If you change your mind, you can reactivate a cancelled subscription at any time by logging into your account and selecting "Reactivate" under your cancelled subscriptions, or by contacting us. Reactivation starts a new subscription at the current pricing, which may differ from your original subscription price if pricing has changed.
